1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TradeProfit ("the Service", "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TradeProfit is a job-profit calculation tool designed for self-employed tradespeople and small trade businesses. The Service allows users to estimate and track costs (labour, materials, travel, and overheads) and calculate profit margins on individual jobs. The App does not provide accounting, bookkeeping, invoicing, or financial advice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Transmit harmful, fraudulent, or malicious content.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written authorisation.
6. Data and Calculations
TradeProfit provides calculation tools based on data you input. All results — including profit figures, margins, and hourly recovery rates — are estimates for informational purposes only. We make no guarantee that calculations reflect your actual tax obligations, true business costs, or financial outcomes. You are solely responsible for verifying figures with a qualified professional where required.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and design within the Service are the property of TradeProfit or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our
Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradeProfit and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
11. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice or liability. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TradeProfit operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
